Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Homey mobile application ("App") operated by Amanda Shipman ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Homey is a personal home organization and cleaning management app. You agree to use it only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

• Homey offers a Premium subscription at $3.99/month, billed through the Apple App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• All purchases are final. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy
• Prices may change at any time with reasonable notice

3. AI-Generated Content

The Organize Vision feature uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI DALL-E 3) to analyze photos and generate organization plans and images. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is for inspiration and guidance only — results may vary
• Product recommendations are suggestions and not endorsements
• We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated plans
• By uploading a photo, you grant us the right to transmit it to our AI service providers for processing
• You must own or have rights to any photos you upload

4. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including design, text, graphics, and code — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated results will meet your expectations. Use of the App is at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or dissatisfaction with AI-generated results.

7. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites (such as Amazon product links). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those websites. Visiting third-party links is at your own risk.

Homey participates in the Amazon Associates program. We may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases made through product links in the App, at no extra cost to you.

8. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
